It seems the sun has forgotten how to shine here in eastern PA. We've had some cooler days, rainy days, drizzly days, foggy days. Today I decided I'm sitting on my porch anyway.....
How I've missed my porch! I wiped off the chair (although it still feels damp!), make a cup of coffee and after I'm finished with this post, I'll read! Making lemonade out of weather lemons :)
Yesterday I did a big oops. One of the many stops I made was to Whole Foods. While there I decided to check out the GF desserts in the frozen section because I felt like eating something (a very little something) sweet. I've not been eating much of that kind of thing lately and I do feel better because of it. So I chose two boxes of tiny brownies that were on the Amazon Prime discount. I ate one in the car and it was sooo good!! When I got home and read the ingredients I realized they were not GF. Oh dear, oh dear. I guess Whole Foods does not separate their GF products from regular stuff. I'm feeling it today. Recently I started using two new supplements from Young Living that have really been helping some stomach issues and I think that is really helping with the pain I usually feel after eating gluten. But the fatigue is still a big issue today and brain fog. Not good!! I really must read everything prior to putting it in my mouth....I know that but I didn't do it.
Hurricane Florence is looking terrible. I've been praying and praying for it to not be as bad as it looks.....and praying for those in its path. I have another interest in where this storm heads....Ellen, Gina and I along with two of Ellen's friends and moms are to go to Lewes, DE this weekend. We are planning on going since it looks like the storm wont be coming up the east coast. We realize that it may not be good beach weather but as long as no destruction is predicted we will be ok. It's not even to rain much which is good. (I'll keep my eye on changes!) I'm driving, something I'm not crazy about but can do. Hoping for a relaxing weekend....wishing for sun, little wind, toes in sand. Probably won't happen but I'm still wishing!
This afternoon hubby has an appointment to help him choose a Medicare plan. I'll go along. We are both getting to that age when things change.....how did that happen so stinking fast???

This little guy asks everyday when the rain will stop. He opened the front door to look outside this morning and was disappointed it was still wet out there. He really wants to roast marshmallows on a fire! We tell him we can't until things dry, poor kid.
We decided to watch a movie on Nana's TV. He chose Peter Rabbit. Such a funny movie and one I could watch over and over. It's on Netflix right now.
